15 Books in 15 minutes meme

Rules: Don't take too long to think about it. Fifteen books you've read that will always stick with you. First fifteen you can recall in no more than 15 minutes.

(in arbitrary order, not ranked)

1. The Secret Garden, by Frances Hodgson Burnett
2. American Gods, Neil Gaiman
3. Neverwhere, Neil Gaiman
4. The Foundling, Georgette Heyer
5. Shards of Honor, Lois McMaster Bujold
6. Pride and Prejudice, Jane Austen
7. Sense and Sensibility, Jane Austen
8. The Painted Bird, Jerzy Koszinski
9. Lord of the Rings, J.R.R. Tolkein
10. The Wind in the Willows, by Kenneth Grahame
11. The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime, by Mark Haddon
12. To Kill a Mockingbird, by Harper Lee
13. Right Ho, Jeeves! by P.G. Wodehouse
14. Huckleberry Finn, by Mark Twain
15. The Far Arena, by Richard Ben Sapir

What a mix! For one of my all time favorite authors Georgette Heyer, I put only one book, because they are mostly pretty similar (except for her mysteries which are OK but I never liked a much). Likewise P.G. Wodehouse is one of several. Neil Gaiman got two slots because the two books are so different. Jane Austen got two because, well, she's Jane Austen!
