Someone once said hat life is like a roll of toilet paper— the farther into it you get, the faster it goes. Another take on the way we experience time is the old saying that time flies when you're having fun, which suggests that it slows down when you're not. So what happens when these two opposing laws of nature come into conflict? Near as I can tell, time stands still. I wish it wouldn't.
I would like to thank whoever invented the concept of the weekend.
