The road NOT not taken

In perusing the Amazon Breakthough Novel Award pages, I found a section where well-known writers describe how they got into the book biz. Ken Follet had one of the more prosaic stories. His car needed to be repaired and he saw writing as a way to earn money to fix it.

This made me wonder if scottedelman would see this as some kind of breech of ethics. Frankly, I don't care. Ken Follett wrote Pillars of the Earth. I can forgive him more than a few car repairs for that.
