Google goes spec fic

If you looked at Google on this past Friday, February 29, you would have seen a "Google doodle," a version of the Google logo in which a thematic graphic is inserted into the logo, often for a holiday. On Leap Day, the L in Google became a leaping frog. Now it seems Google has gone in for speculative fiction because they are running a contest for kids in grades kindergarten through high school, in which the object is to come up with a Google doodle that asks the question "What if...?"

That question is, in fact, the basis for speculative fiction, so yeah for us! The winning entries in each age bracket will be posted on Google, so yeah for kids!
