Have you been watching the skies?

Tor just launched Tor.com, their new blog-centric home page. It's not a replacement for their regular “learn about and buy our books here” site, but rather a platform for their editors, authors, and guest bloggers to opine on the world of spec fic publishing. One thing the new site does have, at least until this Sunday, July 27, is a link to download all the free e-books they've been giving away over the last several weeks. Personally, I've been stocking up, waiting for the price of the Kindle to drop. There is some really nice cover art available as wallpaper, too.

For the other spec fic writers out there, Tor's (unchanged) submission guidelines are still on their regular site.
